Game Summary: A top down, twin stick, tower defense, beat em up game. The game focuses around a Cave Troll who visits multiple areas of the world fighting many new enemies along the way. The game will be presented in a cartoonish whimsical art style similar to “Fairytale Fights” and “Conkers Bad Fur Day” but there will be plenty of violence and gore to contrast the art style.
Release: PC/Mac with Mobile port to follow.
Play Styles: Single Player and Local Multiplayer planned for first launch. With a possibility of Network Multiplayer being integrated at a later date.
Multiplayer will be a centralized camera type of play with both characters on screen at the same time and the camera zooming in or out to accomodate.
level Progression: Kill all enemies and defend towers in each wave to progress through levels. When completing all levels in a world (or area) the troll will adventure to another world and progress through a new set of levels.
Story (Idea to be approved): Our main character the Troll has worked for years to mine all of the Crystals in his expansive cave which he calls home. He has sculpted crystal towers in different parts of the cave to mark the territory as his own. The towers are massive and strike fear into all who dare to venture further into the cave.
The Crystals are the source of pure magic, the sorcerer is sending his demons "ghosts" out into the lands to corrupt the the pure magic with dark magic. If the crystals health drops to 0% they are corrupted and change color. The sorcerer uses the corrupted crystals as the source of his power.
